The Indian Ocean Commission  and the French Agency for Development support the installation at Rodrigues Island of a solar desalination unit which can produce from 80m3 to 240m3 per day, by connecting to the electrical grid at night.
The solar desalination unit OSMOSUN® acts as a flexible load on the electrical grid, while erasing at any time.
