Photovoltaic solar

Lone Valley (Etats-Unis)

In 2015, Exosun commissioned its innovative systems for the Lone Valley solar park in the California desert in the United States. This 30 MVA project, including two adjacent solar power plants, marks the completion of the first US contract for the company and its first successful collaboration with EDP Renewables, the world's third largest producer of renewable energy.

The Lone Valley solar park is equipped with Exosun's 262 horizontal single-axis trackers, Exotrack® HZ. They direct more than 120,000 photovoltaic modules to the sun in order to increase their production by up to 25% compared to fixed inclined structures.

The site provides the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 7,000 average US households, or more than 80,000 MWh / year, and saves 6,600 tons of CO2 per year (compared to a thermal plant emitting 860 g CO2 / kWh) .
