Photovoltaic solar

Centrale solaire Wanaiee (Hawai, USA)

Exosun successfully commissioned its solar trackers on the 40 MWp EE Waianae Solar Project in the United States of America. The power plant, developed by Eurus Energy America and managed by REC Solar, is the largest facility of its kind in the state of Hawaii (USA) and is located in Waianae, West Oahu.

Equipped with 264 Exotrack HZ trackers, 127,160 photovoltaic modules will be facing the sun from morning to night, in order to increase power plant production and help provide cleaner, more cost-effective energy for Hawaii residents. Installed in a coastal area with unique weather conditions and slopes of up to 15%, this project proves once again the robustness and adaptability of Exosun's solar tracking technology. The plant will produce approximately 72,900 MWh per year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 11,900 homes and will avoid the emission of 56,474 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually.
