Filière Solaire - Énergies Renouvelables

Pilot project for drying soybeans using a thermovoltaic technology developed by Base in Gironde. In order to dry the products the agro industrial use the firewood as well as the oil in addition. Cogen Air technology from Base provides the following:

  • substitution of these two raw materials
  • better drying quality (no smoke, reduced fire risk, supply chain stabilization, continuity of service)
  • low cost compared to other products (savings of over BRL 250,000 per year on fuel and wood)

The technology also meets the power consumption requirements of production sites, enabling the company to make substantial savings on their energy bills (396,000 kWh per year).
